• Annual Meeting Report.   The speaker, Dr. Peter Levine “helped us understand that  [a large number of] young people today are less ideologically polarized . . than previous generations were.”   However, he suggested that the LWV might ask “how [it can] engage disadvantaged youth so they become civically active.”  For detailed minutes click here. 

• LWVMA State Convention Report.   A knowledgeable panel discussed the theme, Health Care Rx; Winchester delegates “ networked, attended workshops, shared ideas, . . .  “   Winchester Steering Committee member and Treasurer Elizabeth Ghoniem  was given the State League’s Dyna-Member Award. 

• Plans for the Coming Year include a Jimmy Tingle Concert in September.
