Sandberg, chief operating officer of Facebook since 2008, shares valuable lessons learned through her own experience as well as through
research about how women can become stronger leaders, whether in the workplace or in community organizations. One of the essential goals of the League is to promote leadership skills, so this book is appropriate for all women, whether working to raise a family or outside the home--or both. Sandberg offers insight on ways to balance obligations inside and outside the home while maintaining a sense of self.
