The Steering Committee was proud and excited to award M. Joyce Westner the 2025 Civic Leadership Award at a ceremony held on Thursday, September 18, 2025 at the Town Hall Auditorium.

Joyce has provided a tremendous service to our community, bringing idealism balanced with professionalism to shape public discourse in a civil fashion. Joyce effectively engages a wide range of people, often while tackling some of the most challenging community concerns. Most recently, Joyce responded to the clear need for independent local news reporting by guiding the formation of the online publication, Winchester News.
