Last January, the League of Women Voters of Winchester and Winchester High School (WHS) U.S. Social Studies teachers Chris Kurhajetz and Anne Marie Edenhofner brought to our members and the community a case study focused on Martin Luther King, Jr. and the Struggle for Black Voting.

The Steering Committee nominated these two outstanding WHS teachers to attend a case method workshop taught by Professor David Moss, Harvard Business School. This case method of teaching deepens student understanding of American history and democracy and provides a unique opportunity to expand their civic education.

We are delighted that Chris Kurhajetz and Anne Marie Edenhofner have agreed to collaborate with our League again and moderate this year’s case study encompassing Democracy and Women’s Rights in America: The fight over the ERA.

You won’t want to miss this stimulating and relevant discussion! This year’s panel discussion will be in person and held at Winchester High School. Stay tuned for details about how to register.
